Waves Breaking on Porthchapel Beach
Nestled about 1k west of Porthcurno along the Coast Path, a small, unassuming beach. Inaccessible by car, you won't find many bathers or families at PorthChapel, and to be fair, I would have walked past on any other day, if the waves had not been so epic.
Having passed Porthchapel in the morning on a walk to Sennen Cove with family, I decided the it demanded a second visit in the afternoon on my own. The result was was some of the most exhilarating & dynamic sea pictures I have ever taken.

Its on days like these that you really start to understand how lucky we are in this country with our coasline and beaches. The Cornish light gives us a wonderful luminesence to photographs and paintings.
If only I could paint, but I've tried many times and realised I have neither the patience or the skill. Perhaps I'll tray again at some point in the future. For now I am happy to share my photos with you for your enjoyment.
